 As a mixed media collage artist, I experiment with handmade paper, paint, found objects, sketches, and ink to make pictures that tell a story. I am particularly fascinated with grid collages, perhaps a vestige of my previous career as a budget analyst who spent long hours looking a spreadsheets.

The term ‘collage’ comes from the French term coller, meaning ‘to glue’.  And my process focuses on just that! But first I select materials, cut them to fit my theme, and arrange on my chosen surface. The process is very meditative.
